Ingredients:
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
2 Tbsp butter, melted
2 cups white flour
2 tsp baking powder
Method:

Mix all the ingredients together, adding more flour if necessary.
The dough should be soft, but not sticky, quite like pizza dough only a little softer.

Cut the dough into four equal pieces.

Pat each piece into a circle about 1/4 inch thick.

Cut into quarters.

Fry in vegetable oil, least 2 inches of oil until each side is a nice golden to dark brown.
